Ohio Commerce Bank opened in 2006 with a mission to serve important segments of
our business community; small and mid-sized businesses and professionals. Our strategy
from the beginning has been to deliver products and services in a creative and consistent
manner designed to build relationships and contribute to the success of our customers.
Most rewarding in this process has been our deposit gathering efforts where the
board, management and staff all worked together in raising significant deposits
with a high level in the noninterest category. Providing depositors with convenience
and reliability of service has been equally critical to the success of this program.
Knowledge of products and services, as well as the needs of each customer, has played
an important role in this relationship-building process. Introduction of the CDARS®
program and the effective employment of remote deposit, lockbox and cash management
products have resulted in increased loyalty to the bank.
