LANSING, Mich., and PHOENIX: Jan. 24, 2006: Capitol Bancorp Limited (NYSE:CBC) will be a featured presenter at the Brean Murray & Co. Small Cap Institutional Investor Conference in New York on Tuesday, January 31.

Capitol Bancorp recently opened its 41st separately chartered community bank, Bank of Santa Barbara, in Santa Barbara, CA.
